Retail Associate Position, Part-Time

The purpose of this position at Salt Creek Farm Market & Garden is to assist customers and ensure a clean, safe, and fully-stocked market and garden center.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store and ensures the store is clean, stocked, and ready for customers at all times.
• Operates Point of Sale system and understands troubleshooting procedures.
• Have knowledge of plant and food products to answer customer questions and make recommendations when requested.
• Restocks food inventory as needed.
• Maintains greenhouse and live plant inventory by watering, deadheading flowers, sweeping, condensing plant layouts, etc.
• Prepares online orders for pickup, shipping, and delivery customers.
• Assists in packing wholesale orders.
• Other duties related to food sales, production, packaging; live plants, propagation, and vegetable produce; and building and grounds maintenance as assigned.

Schedule

Store hours are Tuesday-Saturday. Must be available to work Saturdays.
